How to choose a tourniquet, Latex or Latex Free?

This disposable tourniquet is made of TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) material. TPE is composed of thermoplastic elastomers, which have good elasticity and wear resistance, making it the best choice for long-term use in harsh conditions.

Moreover, TPE tourniquets exhibit excellent stability under high temperature conditions, are not easily deformed, and are not prone to aging.

Meanwhile, TPE tourniquets are also a blessing for people with latex allergies. Previously, the tubular tourniquet was made of latex. When faced with blood collection or surgery that requires prolonged exposure to latex, latex allergy patients have to worry about triggering a series of other adverse reactions due to their own latex allergy. And now, they no longer have to worry.

Although TPE and latex tourniquets have the same purpose and advantages, as a hospital, how to choose a suitable tourniquet needs to consider the patient's needs, environmental conditions, and potential issues. That's why more and more domestic and foreign hospitals and clinics are choosing new disposable tourniquets to provide patients with a better nursing experience.
